Jack Ardill is an Australian artist based on the South Coast of New South Wales.

Working primarily in charcoal on archival paper, his practice is centred on expressive calligraphic mark-making and an intuitive approach to figuration.

Figures emerge through searching passages of line, tone and gesture, where observation is transformed through exaggeration, atmosphere and invention.
